The Perfect Palette Tag

Hey dolls !! I've been seeing this tag all over YouTube and I must admit I LOVE palettes !!!! I didn't get tagged but oh well hehe .. So here it is ...

The Perfect Palette Tag

1. Best Packaging
Just like many others the best packaging in my opinion is .... Urban Decay Vice 2 palette. I don't gravitate to purple very much but I love the way it looksfloralish tiedyed it's beautiful. I also love the UD pop up jewel, makes the palette look so fancy ;)  It's not too big and I love how it pops up open on it's own and has a huge mirror !!

2. Best Color Payoff
This one is hard because I have a tiny obsession with urban decay but this one has to go to theBalm cosmetics Nude'tude palette, every single color is so pigmented and soft and super blendable !!

(catch it on sale on Hautelook!)

3. Most Versatile
This one has to go to my Pixi Beauty ultimate beauty kit it has everything you need, neutral shades on one side greys, pinks and purples on the other and lip and cheek colors in the middle.

4. Best for Traveling
My Urban Decay Naked 2 is my favorite for traveling because I love taupes and the colors in this palette could be used to make any type of look. And I LOVE the matte cream shade and the black shade ! They are perfect, extremely pigmented and easy to blend.

5. Biggest Regret
My biggest palette regret is MAC trip:5 cool eyes palette. I never even use these colors and the pigmentation is not good at all.

6. Best Color Names
The palettes with the best names is a new palette I got over the holidays with a Tarte gift set. It's just an Amazoniam clay e/s palette. I don't know if it's because I'm pregnant but the names are the cutest and super unique .. Some examples are .. Bianca's Coloring Book, Kate's Puppy, Erica's Dollhouse, Staci's Charm bracelet.. So cute right ?!

7. Least Used
I actually have a few palettes for this section and it just because I get so sucked into my other palettes that I just don't grab these too often .. Coastal Scents palettes (88 color, 98 warm and the creative me 1)

8. Most Used
My Naked palettes !!! All 3 of them and my Naked basics palette (LOL) I love neutrals and I find these so easy to use no make what type of look I am doing !

9. Most Loved
All of my UD Naked Palettes are my most loved but I must include my two NARS cheek palettes and my Tarte Amazonian clay blush palette as well ! I have no idea what I would do with out these palettes !!! I love love love cheek colors and the ones in these palettes are pigmented beautiful and vestiale !!!

10. Deserted Island
Ugh none lol what's the point of wearing makeup on a deserted island ?! Hahaha

I tag anyone to do this tag !! Comment below so I can check yours out :)

I hope you all enjoyed !!!!

How to: Dye extensions at home

Hey dolls,
Today's blog post will be on how to dye your hair extensions at home. Now a days a lot of hair extension company's provide a wide range of hair colors but they may not always match your hair to your liking. That's what happened to be but I didn't want to pay lots of money at a salon plus I'm pregnant and did not want any dye on my actual hair.

Instead I brought a box dye from revlon, which I have used before, it's cheap and good quality. Then I dye each hair extension in a open and well ventilated space.

After waiting the 25 minutes for the dye to process. I washed and conditioned the hair extensions and I also deep conditioned them for 20 minutes with coconut oil and a deep conditioner.

Remember most hair extensions are human hair and should be care for as you would your own hair.

The things you would need to dye your extensions are:

Box dye of your choice
A towel to place the dyed hair
Skirt/pants hanger (some company's actually have hangers for your extensions but if you are on a budget pant hangers will do the trick)
Gloves
Comb

I made sure to color the whole lengthen of the hair extensions including the band where the clips are located. My extension were not extremely off by color but I still chose to do this. If you have blonde hair extensions and want to dye them red, for example, dying the whole of the hair extensions is important.

Here are some photos:

I hope you all enjoyed this and learn something new.
