Today's blog post will be on how to dye your hair extensions at home. Now a days a lot of hair extension company's provide a wide range of hair colors but they may not always match your hair to your liking. That's what happened to be but I didn't want to pay lots of money at a salon plus I'm pregnant and did not want any dye on my actual hair.
Instead I brought a box dye from revlon, which I have used before, it's cheap and good quality. Then I dye each hair extension in a open and well ventilated space.
After waiting the 25 minutes for the dye to process. I washed and conditioned the hair extensions and I also deep conditioned them for 20 minutes with coconut oil and a deep conditioner.
Remember most hair extensions are human hair and should be care for as you would your own hair.
The things you would need to dye your extensions are:
Box dye of your choice
A towel to place the dyed hair
Skirt/pants hanger (some company's actually have hangers for your extensions but if you are on a budget pant hangers will do the trick)
Gloves
Comb
I made sure to color the whole lengthen of the hair extensions including the band where the clips are located. My extension were not extremely off by color but I still chose to do this. If you have blonde hair extensions and want to dye them red, for example, dying the whole of the hair extensions is important.

I hope you all enjoyed this and learn something new.
